How it works

AstaReal® Astaxanthin helped support aging muscles in both clinical and pre-clinical studies by promoting endurance and recovery at the mitochondrial level. AstaReal® Astaxanthin helps maintain nourishing blood flow that helps feed muscles and other tissues, provides antioxidant support, and helps maintain a healthy inflammation response.

AstaReal® Astaxanthin works in eye muscles to promote comfort, hydration, visual function and dynamic focus.

Several studies suggest that AstaReal® Astaxanthin may support a healthy blood lipid profile. In healthy sedentary dogs, AstaReal® Astaxanthin reduced triglyceride levels, as well as oxidative stress and inflammation markers.

Finally, AstaReal® Astaxanthin can cross the blood brain barrier to neutralize free radicals and support brain health. Owners of dogs supplementing with AstaReal® Astaxanthin have reported that their dogs are more responsive and alert following 60 days of astaxanthin supplementation.
